Fresh 4 day old hair with pantene

This post is in partnership with Pantene. Thank you for always supporting brands that I love to support!

As a mom, saying that you’re busy is an understatement for most of my days. From swim practice to soccer tryouts to taking the dog to the groomers, and remembering to feed the kids AND yourself…it can become challenging. By the end of the day, washing my hair seems like a daunting task. Living in the desert relying on dry shampoo has been a part of my daily life. The problem is, even with most of the dry shampoos that I’ve tried throughout the year, I can only stretch it to about 3 days in between my washings. My scalp is crazy oily and after a few days, I feel like I have a mattress of buildup. That’s why when Pantene came out with the new Pantene Waterless Collection that includes the Cheat Day Dry Shampoo Foam and Mist Behaving Dry Conditioner Mist helps to revive 4 (and even 5) day old hair, I was ECSTATIC!

My first thought was, “a dry shampoo foam? How’s that going to soak up my oil?” Well, to my surprise, it totally refreshed my hair without feeling like I was adding three pounds of product to my hair and left it smelling sooo good! And as I mentioned, being in the desert my hair is usually as dry as the Vegas landscape and using the Pantene Mist Behaving Dry Conditioner Mist really brought back moisture and shine to my locks. It is a mixture between a leave-in conditioner and a styling spray that nourishes your ends while controlling frizz. It wasn’t even something that I knew I needed but now it’s a staple in my routine.

Also, most dry shampoos tend to leave your hair with the white dry powdery residue, but I didn’t have that issue with the Pantene Cheat Day Dry Shampoo Foam, the Pantene Mist Behaving Dry Conditioner Mist is a great way to add luster back to your hair. Another reason to love these products is that they are paraben-free, sulfate-free and loaded with light-as-air hydrator ingredients to restore and smooth your hair.

Shake shake shake and apply strategically is the name of the game. At first the thought of working with a foam might seem a little foreign, especially when it comes to dry shampoo, but I promise, it’s easy. Just be sure to take time and section off your hair so that you can easily apply the product. I like to section layers around my crown, down my part. All you have to do is shake to mix up the product, dispense it in your fingertips apply to the roots you sectioned off. I like to let the product dry while I put on my makeup and then before I jolt out the door, I’ll finish with the Pantene Mist Behaving Dry Conditioner Mist for some added shine. It’s perfect for color-treated and hair that is often styled that is in need of much-needed nourishment. Hold the can 6-8 inches away from your hair for optimal coverage, and spray from the mid-lengths and downwards on dry hair. Be sure to not spray it directly at your roots. It soaks up excess oil, giving hair texture, refreshment and volume.

Now, I wish I could tell you that I’m one of those girls who style their hair everyday but I’d lying. Easy street is usually the route I take, and these products are right up my alley. From running to PTA meetings or heading to meet the girls for happy hour, having the luxury of not having to worry about my hair is everything! I challenge you to extend your non-wash days with the new Pantene Waterless Collection. Pick yours up now at your local Kroger!
