Kind to Skin: My review of Simple’s Moisturizing Face Wash

Skincare has always been an important part of my daily routine. I have always believed that there’s no need for heavy makeup if you have great skin. I am always mindful of selecting products that contain clean ingredients while not sacrificing performance. Recently I had the opportunity to try out Simple’s line of skincare products and in particular, their Moisturizing Face Wash.

Simple’s Ethos:

Simple’s Moisturizing Face Wash follows the company’s motto of being “kind to skin” while remaining merciless on makeup. It’s 100% soap free and contains added vitamins of Pro-Vitamin B5, Vitamin E and Bisabolol. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Bisabolol, it’s a skin moisturizing agent that’s amazing for extra dry and flaky skin and actually reduces the appearance of redness. It’s extremely hydrating and restores skin’s natural appearance and texture.

Simple strives to offer products that are as pure as possible, while still being gentle and respectful of the natural balance of your skin. Their products are NEVER tested on animals and are free from artificial perfumes, colorants, alcohol and soap, with no added phthalates, parabens. No silicones or harsh chemicals. All their products are hypoallergenic, dermatologist-tested and pH balanced to your skin.

My Thoughts:

I bought my bottle of the Moisturizing Face Wash at my local Kroger store and since they are having a sale (save $5 when you spend $15 on beauty products), I decided to pick up two bottles. When I washed my face for the first time, I instantly loved how well the face wash foamed and really felt like it was “cleaning” my face. The consistency is as you would expect from a face wash, silky and smooth, but there was something about how it “cleaned” your face that really made you feel like it was really penetrating to remove all the dirt and grime.

It left my face feeling clean and soft without the tightening feeling that I often experience with other soaps and face washes. My skin felt fresh, soft and supple. Overall, I really like Simple’s Moisturizing Face Wash and am glad that Kroger is having the sale so that I was able to pick up two bottles! If you’re on the market for a great face wash that’s not only mean at cleaning but is also kind to your skin, Simple’s Moisturizing Face Wash is it. Head on over to your local Kroger to take advantage of the sale now!
